Vaccination / Inoculation rules & Advice on preparing your pet for boarding.

Cat & Dog Boarding

What Inoculations are required?

We require all pets to have their annual vaccinations. (If in doubt, consult your veterinarian). Every dog must also be inoculated against Bordetella (Kennel Cough). NB: Inoculation against Kennel Cough must be given at least 72 hours before boarding commences, and will protect your pet for one year.

Do I have to produce proof of vaccination?

Yes proof of vaccination is required.

What do I have to bring with my pet?

The only things you have to bring with you are your pet’s up-to-date inoculation record, Pet Insurance Policy Documents if held, and a supply of your pets’ usual food to last their stay with us.

What can I bring?

Their favourite toy and something with your own scent on it (simply rub a cloth or something similar together between your palms to leave your own scent on the item).

If my pet requires medication, can you administer it?

Yes. (There is no additional charge for this service).

Is it necessary to bring my pets food?

Yes. Please bring enough of your pets’ usual food to last their stay.

How often are pets fed?

As often as they are at home. Again, please advise us accordingly.

Do you board cats?

Yes

Can I inspect the kennels?

Yes. You are welcome to inspect the Kennels or Cattery, without making a booking.

How much notice for booking?

Busy periods coincide with school holidays, so as much notice as is possible is appreciated.
